  • Hearing that David passed affected me more than I thought it could. When I was growing up he was like an uncle. He and Sylvia were kind enough to take me into their home daily as Sam and I were best friends. For the 1st 10 years of my life I spent almost as much time there as at home. David was always really kind to me and treated us like little adults, never talking down to me because I was a kid. Their home felt like home to me and though our families may have grown apart I will always have a special place for him in my heart. I'm so sorry Sam, Jen, and Sylvia! I know what you are going through as Ed passed away suddenly a few years ago and it was absolutely devastating. There is nothing I can say to make you feel better...just know I will always care for all of you. And, only time will heal the pain. Hang in there. - Posted by: Mindy Lichtman (Family friend) on: Oct 06, 2016

  • Dave and I have been friends and business associates for overy 50 years. I can't believe all these years have passed. We've both raised families and had careers that we enjoyed. Unfortunately, we just didn't have enough time to accomplish all of the things that we wanted. Dave was always busy and eager to try something new and exciting. Nothing seemed to get in way or prevent him from accomplishing his goals whether it be becoming a lawyer or a pilot or a wood turner. Colleen, the girls and I send our condolences out to Sylvia and the kids as well as the rest of Dave's family. - Posted by: Dave Grant (Old Friend ) on: Sep 28, 2016
