THEODORE (TED) CIUPAK March 8, 1931 - September 29, 2016 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ted, at Seven Oaks Hospital, on September 29, 2016 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by his wife Julia Ciupak, mother Katherine, father John, and brothers Boris and Greg. Ted leaves to cherish his memory his loving partner Maxine; children Chris and wife Linda, Clyde, Raymond, Rosanne and husband Al; grandchildren Jarrod, Jenna-Leigh, Jordyn, Tanner, Julia; and his great-grandchildren. In his late teens, stepfather Walter Gubernachuk and brother Eugene came into his life. Ted was born and raised in Winnipeg. He worked for over 35 years at the Motor Vehicle Branch. He retired in 1989 and enjoyed his time at the family cottage in Pine Falls with family and many friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and watching his two favourite teams, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Winnipeg Jets. Respecting Ted's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. A private burial will take place at a later date. We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, Dr. Finlayson, nurses and staff that helped Dad make it through his final days.
