CAROL MACKI On September 26, 2016, Carol Macki passed away peacefully at home after a long illness. She was born in 1942 in Dauphin, Manitoba. She studied at the University of Manitoba where she received a Bachelor of Arts and a teacher's certificate. She taught primary school for many years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She loved reading, crosswords and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by her sons Michael and Jason, and her sisters Cheryl and Susan. She was predeceased by her husband Jerome. A private ceremony will be held on Friday afternoon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to CancerCare or Canadian Diabetic Society.
