RICK CAMERON (DAVID RICHARD CAMERON) On Thursday September 22, 2016, four days short of his 68th birthday, Rick peacefully passed away with his loving family at his bedside. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his wife Linda of 39 years; children, Kellee (Jamie), Katie (Evan), and Richard (Leann); adoring grandchildren, Braydyn, McKenzie, Kayla and Kyle; his sisters and brother, Joan (Victor), Carole (Dale), John (Candy), Jean (Frank); sister-in-law Bonita and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Rick was predeceased by his parents Doug and Bernadette Cameron, brothers Bob and Larry, brother-in-law Jim Ratchford; sister-in-law Lee Cameron and mother in-law Frances Leswick. Rick was born, raised and educated in Kenora, Ontario. He spent many years as a Helicopter Engineer for Custom Helicopters, also Yellowhead and MidWest Helicopter companies working all across Manitoba, northwestern Ontario to British Columbia and far north as Baffin Island. He was a private person well liked by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His down time was spent with his family and friends on the lake, fishing, hunting and storytelling. In keeping with Rick`s wishes a private family interment will take place. A Come and Go Reception celebrating Rick`s Life will be held October 15, 2016 at Rae and Jerry`s 1405 Portage Avenue from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website.
