JACQUELINE JONES After a battle with breast cancer, Jacqueline passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Grace Hospice, Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 76 years. She was born in England on June 12, 1940 and came to Canada in 1970. She has four sisters and one stepbrother. Jacqueline will be missed by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her spouse, Paul Jones (2007), and two children, Peggy Sue Welschlau (1960) and Peter John Oscar Welschlau (1959). Jacqueline worked at the Grace Hospital as a Health Care Aide. She was involved with Cadets when she was young. On Tuesday, October 25, 2016, Jacqueline's Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, with Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault P.H. presider. Inurnment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg. I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now it's time I traveled on alone. So grieve a while for me if grieve you must; Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a while that we must part, So bless the memories within your heart. I won't be far away, for life goes on; So if you need me, call and I will come, Though you can't see me or touch me, I'll be near And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear, All of my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and say, "Welcome Home."
