ANNE BART (TANASYCHUK) 1926 2016 Anne Bart, 90, daughter of John Tanasychuk (1873-1955) and Agafia Henkewich (18841966), passed away peacefully while being anointed by Fr. Myhaylo, at the Rossburn Personal Care Home, on Thursday, October 13. She was surrounded by the love of her family. Mom will be dearly missed by, daughters, Lynda (Ryshytylo), Connie (Hamel), Patti (Mondor); and sons, Ron and Ernie Bart. She was "Baba" to grandchildren, John, Kristyn, Calvin, Jesse, Elias, Dylan, Brady, Ashley, Lindsey, Nigel, David, Andrew and Quintin; and great-grandchildren, Ava, Sadie, Zachariah, Xavier, Aiden, Kealey, Emery, Ethan, Emilia, Adrianna and Caspienne. Anne was predeceased by her husband Frank (1993); sisters, Pearl Mushumanski, Mary Melnyk, Katie Lopushinsky; and brothers, Bill, Andrew, Russ, Mike and Dr. Murray Tanasychuk. Anne was born to a large and loving farm family and attended school in Birdtail and Rossburn. She married Frank Bart in 1947 and together they farmed and raised their family. She always made time for her grandkids that spent many holidays on the farm. Baba had a real passion for the outdoors; she loved her milk cows, chickens, dogs and gardening. Anne made the farm a magical place where work and the chores were always interwoven with the need to help the neighbours and to hear everyone's story. She loved to prepare and serve meals, especially from her home grown garden preserves. Anne loved to play music and was always up for a good party. She inspired her children and grandchildren with her love of music, dance and generous hospitality. Anne was a faithful and dedicated member of St. Helen's Parish in Shoal Lake, serving in many ministries. She often expressed gratitude for the opportunity that her church provided for her to be able to serve the larger community, locally and globally. The family is grateful for the kindness, dignity, care and compassion shown Mom by the staff and volunteers at the Morley House Personal Care Home and Rossburn Personal Care Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 22 at the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church, Rossburn, with interment at the St. Helen's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shoal Lake. Rae's Funeral Service, Shoal Lake is in care of arrangements. Should you wish to honour Anne's memory, a donation may be made to Artbeat Studio (Mental Health Recovery), Winnipeg and the Children's Wish Foundation.
