Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALDEN GEORGE STRATTON September 7, 1929 October 15, 2016 With heavy hearts, the family of George Stratton announces his passing at Vista Park Lodge on Saturday, October 15, 2016. George is survived by his wife Lynn Taylor; daughter Kim (Craig) Prystay; brothers, Terry (Marie) and Don (Sharon) Stratton. He will also be lovingly remembered by his granddaughters, Rachel Prystay and Alexa Stratton; many nieces and nephews; brother and sister-in-law Gary and Kathy Wallace and families. George was predeceased by his brother Tim; son Ray and parents, Mary and George. George's career was as an Audit Manager for the Federal Government. He enjoyed this work immensely. He also loved quiet times at home, sitting on the balcony and watching the world go by! In accordance with George's wishes there will be no service. Where have you gone since yesterday And left us lonely here? Today you seem so far away Who yesterday was near No map of ours that we use, Your journey can we trace: We only know you've reached your Home And seen your Father's face. I am saddened at the news of George's passing , I met George in 1974 when I first met his son Ray, Ray and I were a couple of -- "sugar coated" rowdy Car Nuts. Through the years, decades, I knew George to be a man that had a unique sense of humor and was a very heart first caring man.
