Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACOBA ELISABETH DE VRIES It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacoba (Jackie) de Vries aged 89 on October 19, 2016, at Riverview Health Centre, Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her son Brian, who passed away in 1989 at the of age of 24. She is survived by Franciscus (Frank) her husband of 65 years; daughter Edith (Darrell Brownlee); and son Richard (Deborah). Cremation has taken place and at her request there will be no service. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Riverview Health Centre Palliative Care Unit (3 East) who have taken excellent care of Jackie and her family in the last weeks of her life.

Dearest Frank, I'm so incredibly sorry to hear about your beautiful soul mate Jackie. My girls and I were so very sad to hear of her passing. She was a beautiful lady with a kind yet determined spirit who we loved and enjoyed her company so very much over the years at St Vital mall. Stay strong and remember all the beautiful memories you have and all the love she gave to those around her. Sending you and your family my deepest thoughts and love.
