RUDOLF WONNEK In the early morning hours of October 19, 2016, at the age of 86, Rudolf (Roy) peacefully left this earthly life to the eternal life of heaven. Left to remember him with love are his wife of almost 60 years (November 3, 2016) Ena, son Ken (Sue), daughter Bev (Bruce) and daughter Kim as well as seven grandchildren; Darren, Russel, Curtis, Eric, Rachel, Evan and Aaron. Many family and friends have passed on before Roy and we are sure that he has been greeted lovingly. Cremation has taken place and in honoring Roy's wishes a private family interment will take place at a later date. The family would like to send heartfelt Thank you to all the staff at Heritage Lodge for the great care they extended to Roy over the last four and a half years. The family is also truly grateful for all the condolences received. We have been scrolling through the many posts and are blessed and comforted by all. May we never forget and always smile at the great times held at the BC barn dances, the Glenella weekends with Fred, John and Roy living out their farm dreams and Dad's love of five star, hot toddies and hot coffees. Sorry to hear of your loss. It is always sudden, even when we know it is coming, of a loss of a parent. Ken, we only met your dad a few times and he came across as a very good and family loving man. Our deepest condolences. - Posted by: Lou and Diane Felicioni (friends of Ken and Susan) on: Oct 22, 2016
