MARIEOLA KRUT February 19, 1919 - October 23, 2016 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother Marieola Krut (nee Belanger) on October 23, 2016. Mom passed away peacefully at Actionmarguerite (Saint-Boniface) at the grand age of 97 years. Mom has departed this world to join her beloved husband John who she has missed dearly, and infant daughter Andrea Christine who was taken much too soon. Mom will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed by her children Andy, Carol (Oliver), Maureen (Dan), Laurie (Debbie) and Jackie (Dave). "Gra" will also be deeply missed by her 11 grandchildren Dan, Janine (Ryan), Tracy (Mike), John (Crystal), Trevor (Caroline), Nancy (Darryll), Jeffrey (Cori), Breanne (Dylan), Jessica (Johnny), Deanne (Chris), Victoria, and 17 great-grandchildren. As well, Mom leaves her sisters Harriet, Marie (Nicky), Merilda (DD), sisters-in-law Mabel, Lorraine, Alice and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends with good memories of days gone by. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held on November 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church in Selkirk, Manitoba with Father Leo Couture and Father Stan Gacek officiating. In keeping with Mom's wishes a private interment of ashes will take place following a funeral luncheon. We wish to thank the staff of Actionmarguerite (Saint-Boniface) for their compassionate care of our Mother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mom's memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
