WES KOSKIE March 22, 1939 - October 21, 2016 With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our husband, brother, father, grandfather, Wes Koskie, after a short battle with cancer. He leaves behind, his wife Marjorie, of 51 years; daughters, Tracey (Rod) Bell, Linda (Andy) Egtberts; grandchildren, Chad and Brittany Bell, Amber and Hailey Egtberts; sisters, Betty (Murray) Nimchuk, Valerie Koskie; father-in-law Walter Devodder; sister-in-law Emily (Dave) Hewitt, one nephew and four nieces, and their families. Wes was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Edith, and mother-in-law Herta Devodder. Wes grew up in Anola and started his career as an Apprentice Machinist at CN in 1957. He moved on to start his own boat and snowmobile business in Beausejour, worked at Atomic Energy in Pinawa, and was later self-employed again with an autobody shop in Anola, where he retired in 1994. Dad loved fishing, building model airplanes, road trips and playing bingo at any casino! Special thanks to Dr. Olynyk, Dr. Elkams, Dr. MacDiarmid, palliative care nurses, home care nurses, respite workers, Dr. Cooney and the wonderful staff at Ste. Anne's Hospital, and all of our family and friends for their help and support. The funeral service will be held at Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day Street, on Friday, October 28 at 11:00 a.m. Donations, if you wish, may be made to a charity of your choice.
