MYRON GLOWA January 23, 1931 - October 12, 2016 On Wednesday, October 12, 2016, Mr. Myron Glowa, of Oliver, BC, passed away peacefully at McKinney Place Extended Care, at the age of 85 years. He was predeceased by his wives, Irene and Louise; his parents and his siblings, Mike and Nick. Myron will be fondly remembered by his daughter Barbara; grandson Paul (Tanis), as well as extended family and many friends. Myron worked for many years as a bookkeeper before retirement. Over the years, Myron enjoyed travelling to various places in Canada, the US, Europe and the Caribbean. He also enjoyed restoring vintage cars, photography and videography. Myron was very involved with the Catholic Church and served in various positions with the 3rd and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. Myron was a devoted volunteer with the Knights of Columbus Christmas Food Hamper Drive for many years. He also attended the Ukrainian Catholic Church for many years. A memorial mass will be celebrated by Fr. Neil Lustado at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 26 at Christ the King Catholic Church. A reception hosted by the CWL in the church lower hall will follow the mass.
