LLOYD JOHN COOK November 11, 1971 - October 19, 2016 With great sadness and sorrow, we announce the passing of our loved one, Lloyd John Cook, on October 19, 2016. Lloyd leaves to mourn, his parents, Raymond Begley (stepfather) and former spouse, Emma Begley (mother); his sisters and brothers, Gloria Cook, Yvette (Ralph) Denby, Sharon Cook and Andrew Cook. Also his nieces and nephews, Catherine (Krista), Joshua, Roxanne, John (Ashley), Maria (Kyle), Breann, Kaleena and a great-niece Angel, and many other family members and friends. Lloyd was predeceased by Howard Cook (biological father) and nephew Micheal Cook. Lloyd found out he had a son that he never met. We just wanted him to know that he was loved. Lloyd attended the Engineering Program at the University of Manitoba, and when he left the program, he still continued to study math and sciences. Lloyd also tutored students and worked at different labour jobs. On Thursday, October 27, 2016, between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. there will be a Come and Go, to meet and greet family members and friends. On Friday, October 28, 2016, the funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m., officiating will be Pastor Howard Jolly and interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery, following, there will be a reception back at the church. Both events will be held at the First Nations Community Church, 44 Tentler Street. The Honourable pallbearers will be Andrew Cook, Joshua Cook, John Cook, Kyle McCorrister, Ronnie Pruden, Mark Robbins and Al Simard.
