G. WARD BROWN Ward passed away in Churchill, Manitoba on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at the age of 54 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Trish Bradley; daughter Jennifer, of Spain; son Christopher (Leanne), of Winnipeg; granddaughter Aurora; brothers, Gary (Margaret) and Keith (Brenda). He was predeceased by his parents, Ruth and Howard; brother Rick and sister Catharine. Ward was born in Winnipegosis, MB, after which his family moved to Churchill, MB, where he would be raised. During his time in Churchill, he would start friendships that would span the course of his life. He began his career with CN Rail in 1980, which had him move to Winnipeg after a few years. He reconnected Trish in 1989, which led to a long and love filled relationship. In the last decade, he began working with Great White Bear Tours in Churchill, alongside his employment with CN. Ward had many passions but he was most passionate when it came to anything mechanical, especially vehicles, and motorcycles. As of recently, he had started to take photography as another serious passion. He will always be remembered for his humour, quick wit and a big heart. Ward will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank the people at Great White Polar Bear Tours. Celebration of Ward's life will be held on Saturday, November 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Ward reported to me a few different times as our paths cross during our employment with CN. The last time was in early 2010. During that time I worked very closely with Ward and it was at that time that he made a video montage of his work with Great White Polar Bear Tours for me. I am saddened to hear of his passing and will treasure this video even more. My condolences to his family. - Posted by: Mitch Gobeil (Retired Supervisor) on: Nov 04, 2016

Words are never adequate in moments like these. I will say though, my heart goes out to you Trisha and to Gary, Margaret and Keith. I will always remember the joyous memories that we are privileged to have in knowing Ward. His love for adventure, that humorous banter and above all, his pure warm hearted smile will always be forever in our hearts.
