Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOREEN BERTHA CLEMENTS 1931 - 2016 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Clements on October 26, 2016 at the age of 85 at the Riverview Health Centre. Mom will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Cheryl (Carson) and Cathy (Brian), sister-in-law Virginia Lindberg several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband George, parents George and Lily Lindberg, brother Les Lindberg and sister Verna Morgan. Mom was born and raised in Rainy River, Ontario. It was there that she met her life's love George and where they were married in 1952. They made their life together in Winnipeg first in Fort Garry, then on to Windsor Park and Southdale and later in south St. Vital. Mom spent her working career in the accounting field and worked at a number of places throughout Winnipeg before she retired in 1986. Mom and Dad loved to travel throughout Canada and the States and were lucky enough to be able to do so many times in their retirement. They would, rather than plan a trip to a specific destination, just pick a general direction and go and see what they would find. Unfortunately the last few years Mom's health was failing and in December 2014 she went to live at Riverview Health Centre. We would like to thank the staff of Unit B2 for their care and support during Mom's time there. A private family service has been held. Sorry to hear of Doreen's passing, our sympathy, thoughts and prayers to her daughters and cousin Ginny. We have lots of fond memories with times spent years ago at Aunt Lily's (a sister to our dad Joe Wood.) Thinking of you & hugs to all.
