Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • This is a late happy birthday. I think of you often and remember you driving down to Kenora and learning the first stop you would make was just to see me. I really wish we had more time. Love and I do miss you, happy birthday, and I truly believe we’ll see each other again. Your niece Iva - Posted by: Iva pope (Niece) on: Jul 12, 2024

  • I was saddened to learn of Cam's passing and I offer my condolences to his entire family. I had the opportunity to work closely with Cam at the WCB for a number of years and we had many conversations about his life and his love of his family. Cam also talked fondly of his musical adventures and his time on the DEW line. We shared a love of military history and we often exchanged books we had read. I know Cam fought hard against his disease and was always optimistic despite discouraging news he would receive. I will miss his enthusiasm for life, his cheerful disposition and most of all his unique laugh. - Posted by: George (Work Friend) on: Nov 12, 2016

  • Very sorry to hear about Cam's passing. My best wishes to his wife and family and friends who miss him. Cam served as evening guard in our office building for a few years and I would see him often at the end of my work day, which was usually the beginning his. He always enthusiastically greeted me and my coworkers. Cam and I shared a love of drumming and I looked forward to his stories of Winnipeg's music scene of which he was part of in the 60's. Quite a privilege to have come into contact with him. - Posted by: Tim () on: Nov 07, 2016
