Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA KLYZUB (nee CHAIKA) Maria Klyzub, 69, peacefully passed away Friday, November 4, 2016, surrounded by family in Calgary. She is survived by her daughter Maria Andryo (Taras) and Darlene Balaz (Ron), and her grandchildren Ashley (Scott), Michael (Jennifer), Orysia (Mevan), Laura (Steve), Nicholas (Katy), Natalya (Jordon), Zenon and Zachary (Lauren), as well as many other family members and friends. In addition to her parents and brothers Michael and Bill, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Nick in 2007, son Nicky in 1992, and daughter-in-law Sheryl in 2005. Maria was born on December 17, 1946 in Sioux Lookout, ON. She grew up in Winnipeg and lived in West Kildonan for 20 years, Lockport for 21 years and in Garson for five years. Mother's Day weekend 2016 she moved to Calgary to be closer to her daughters and their families. Maria was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. Her passion for cooking and gardening will be remembered by all. A celebration of Maria's life will be held on Thursday, November 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Michael Chuckry, Nicholas Klyzub, Zenon and Zac Andryo, Scott Lamothe, Mevan Qader, Steve Townsend and Jordon Morgan.
