ROBERT MALCOM McNABB After a lengthy illness we are sad to announce the passing of a great man, Bob McNabb. He leaves to mourn his devoted wife of 58 years, Doreen. Besides his wife he leaves a son, Barry; a daughter, Dallas (Randy); two granddaughters, Avery (Andy) and Jade (Tyson); and one great-grandson Leo. Bob also leaves his brothers, Gerry, Jimmy, Jackie, (Winnie), Gordie and his sister Donna-Rae (Grant); sisters-in-law, Shirley Court and Velma Russell and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was an avid sports fan and followed the Bombers, Jets and the Patriots. For years he held a seat in section Y row 58 of the old stadium and many people would make the walk up to see Bob during the season. When he was younger Bob enjoyed playing baseball, hockey and golf. Bob continued to play golf and made many friends along the way. Bob had numerous professions in his lifetime but was proudest of being the "highest qualified driver instructor in the province of Manitoba". Bob was generous with his time and affection and everyone who met him loved him. He volunteered for the Olympics, LPGA tournaments and any sporting event that he could. He filled our lives with laughter and silliness and loved to play with the kids. His final days were made so much more comfortable by the wonderful care he received from the palliative care at St. Boniface Hospital. A celebration of Bob's life is planned in the coming days. Some People make a difference just by being who they are Their inner light shines bright and touches lives both near and far And even when they are gone they still forever play a part In the smiles, the priceless moments, that are treasured in the heart by E. Matthews

Dear Doreen. I will be forever grateful to have met and have worked with you, Doreen. As a result of our meeting your wonderful husband Bob taught me to drive in my mid thirties. He truly was the 'highest qualified driver instructor in the province of Manitoba' and to this day, I still hear his voice instructing me - which is a great thing! The two of you were always fun to be around ... as laughter was always present. My thoughts are with you and your family. My deepest condolences to Doreen and the McNabb's. I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. My grandfather George was a close friend of Bobs. My dad Garth was also coached by Bob in both hockey and baseball. I have fond memories of hanging out with my grampa and Bob in my grampa's basement bar listening to them laugh while they told stories. Rest in peace The Parisian's Edmonton, Alberta - Posted by: Grant Parisian (Grand son of good friend George) on: Nov 15, 2016

I always enjoyed visiting Bob and Doreen in their condo next to the pool. Bob was a good friend of mine and we solved a lot of problems swilling a few cold drink on his deck. He will be missed by all. Don - Posted by: Donald Brak (Friend and Sherriff of Heritage gardens) on: Nov 15, 2016
