Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Felix was an example to me of a man strong in his convictions. He knew how to live life and wear it loosely as well. I am a better person in knowing him. To the family myself in service and gratitude. Darren Paul - Posted by: Darren Paul (Student ) on: Nov 18, 2016

  • Mis Sentidos condolancias a la familia Gonzalez. Felix was a great friend and mentor to me for many years. We studied Spanish grammar, philosophy, literature many times a week for many years. I graduated with a degree in Spanish before I became a registered nurse. We lost touch over the years but I will always cherish those days. While my Spanish is not as strong as it once was, I still use it effectively when travelling and receive many compliments. "Si no sabe Espanol, no va a cielo" Felix always said to me jokingly." If you don't know Spanish you won't go to heaven". Adios amigo! - Posted by: David Pragnell (Friend, student) on: Nov 18, 2016

  • In Loving Memory of Felix Eudoro Gonzalez Today it is Felix Eurdor Gonzalez appointment and celebration to be with Our Lord, the Creator, the Son and the Holy Spirit. This beautiful notes found below are of Felix Eudoro Gonzalez found in his book a day after his death Sunday November 13, 2016. In his notes, he sympothyses what merits our flesh and body verses spirit, what gratifies our flesh verses our relationship with God. What is the Kingdom of God? In his early twenties, My loving father studied priesthood with the Jesuits and was a proffesor of philosphy, religious studies and ethics: March 9-1993 My God!, In you I put my hope. I firmly believe that only you were able to raise from the dead your only Son, my Lord and Savior. Help me God, Help me Father that my Flesh is weak, and dominates me and that is why my spirit is imprisoned by its false charm. Help my Spirit to be stronger than my Flesh and reach the freedom to love you more than all the things that surround me and prevent me from going to you, my good father almighty. I fed myself with natural things that have made my Flesh strong, my senses, that is why my Spirit weakens and I know that only united to you, my soul will be saved for all eternity passes which, following your designs was created. May I be chosen by your Grace and not by my merits, which are nothing, but by the gifts of the holy spirit I will meet your Grace and be called among your elect. And there to praise you with your saints for ever and ever, Amen It takes alot to pray? To pray is to be in contact with God and to reunite with Jesus. Pray to not fall into temptation, said our Lord Jesus Christ Preventing a temptation over something that we like and especially if we already have the habit of doing something that we gratify alot, something that delights our senses, the Flesh . To remove something that is detrimental to us, to be in the Grace of God, takes alot, for that reason to pray. To concentrate in the communion with our Lord and to ask our Lord to free us from all evil and to promise our Lord that we will not again do that which distant our Lord from us costs alot. But we should ask for help from our Holy Spirit so that our Lord can fill us with Love and to think that being with the Holy Spirit we will all be in eternal life. What is the Kingdom of God that I have not been able to understand what it is? Look for the Kingdom of God, and his justice and everything else God is not a King who has a throne or an executive power or a government ministry that surrounds our Lord with cameral power or a Judicial Court that will judge his administration. God governs that world because it belongs to our Lord and he made it with his Glory. God Governs the world with his own Divine curvature, with its mercy and Grace. The Kingdom of God is formed by his proclaimed children that hear him and follow him, and are or the good people that are in the world. Who is Jesus Christ? Peter gives us the answer: "You are the Son of God Alive" Jesus Christ is the Son of God mankind. He came to show us the Kingdom of God. To serve as a guide because he knows his Father. And his Father is God and no one else. Jesus Christ came to save us from the fires of Hell for that we are destined through our sins. He offered his life to his Father so we will not loose our Kingdom. Jesus gives us life, and he shows us our way to the Kingdom of God, and tells us what it is that we should do. Be kind as our Father. For that I have come to the World, to give life to you, so that you can have abundance, love one another as I have loved you. - Posted by: Luisa Veronica Davis (Daughter) on: Nov 17, 2016
