DONALD ZAPORZAN Dad, you left our world six years ago. You continue to be missed, loved and memories of you cherished. Mom recently left us to join you. You are both forever loved, from your sons, Tim and Rick.

I remember, for if I didn't, Dad would not still be alive. I remember sitting on Dad's lap pretend driving the '58 Pontiac on Regent Avenue with me grasping the steering wheel and both Mom and Dad smiling with their glasses on and looking so smart and so happy. I remember Mom and Dad on the fishing boat at Whiteshell Lake, the serious looks as we were going across the lake in bad weather and the smiles when we caught fish. I remember the look of determination on Dad's face when he was helping me study for math and electricity exams in junior high school. I remember the hurt in Dad's eyes when I said or did something nasty that I now regret and can never undo or take back. I remember the look of complacency in Dad's eyes the night in the house before he passed away as I was holding him in my arms trying to support my Dad. Those are some of the memories I have my Dad, so Dad is really not dead, he is not with us, but his memory and love for us lives on. - Posted by: Tim Zaporzan (Son) on: Nov 10, 2017
