ELLA BUECKERT Peacefully on November 17, 2016 at the Misericordia Health Centre, Ella passed away at the age of 89, with family at her side. Ella leaves to mourn her son Harold (Caron) Bueckert, daughters Dorothy (Hans) Penner and Ingrid (Rick) Loewen; grandsons Matthew (Erin) Bueckert, Sean (Melanie) Bueckert, Krystofer Penner, Nathan (Lexi) Penner, and Nikolas Penner; great-grandchildren Kayleigh, Meagan, Timothy, Emma and Isabelle; and sister Erika (Dick) Krahn. Ella was predeceased by her husband John, granddaughter Erin Penner, sister Hildi and brother-in-law Harry Neufeld, sister-in-law Susan Neufeld, nieces Debra Lynn Neufeld and Kathy Ilg, and many other close relatives and dear friends. Ella was a kind and loving wife, mother and great/grandmother, a devoted and caring member of her church community and a good neighbour and friend. Her sweet disposition touched many lives. Funeral service will be held at the North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch Street, on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with a viewing prior to the service and interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Bethania Mennonite Memorial Foundation.
