Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT ASHTON FIFE Peacefully on November 24, 2016, Robert Ashton Fife passed away at Concordia Hospital. Survived by his wife Jean; sons, Ron (Lorelei), Bob (Dorothy), Gordon; daughters, Valerie and Sharon. Grandchildren Caralyn (Rob), Marlene (Troy), Ronda (Marty), Devin, Darren, Kelsey, Bryan, Michael, Alex and six great-grandchildren. Robert worked at Winnipeg Transit for 19 years, then worked at Welders Supply for a number of years before retirement. His passions were farming, hunting, fishing and camping. He had a huge heart when it came to animals. The family would like to send a heartfelt thanks for the patience, kindness and care that the staff of N1 South and Dr. Pilat gave to Robert. As per Roberts request cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society or Humane Society. I came upon Bob's obituary by accident. You may remember Joseph Legault, bus driver from Transit. I am his oldest daughter. We remember the times that our families got together.
