Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (Bill) QUIRING 1941 - 2016 William "Bill" Quiring beloved husband of Shirley went to be with the Lord on November 30, 2016, with family at his side. Bill was born in the small village of Schonau in the Ukraine during wartime. His father went missing in the war. He immigrated to Canada with his mother Elizabeth and sisters Liesel and Gretel then settled in Winnipeg, MB. Dad married the love of his life Shirley on August 31, 1963. Bill is survived by his wife Shirley; son Steven (Dorothy); and daughters, Brenda and Lisa (Rui). To survive his legacy are his pride and joy grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Christopher, Shayleen, Danielle, Zidane, and Kazio. Beloved uncle to Lori, Kevin, Brittni, Cody, Jenny, and Tekeena. Dad had a passion for life and treasured the time he spent with family and friends. The family would like to thank friends and family for all their love and support in our time of grief. We extend our sincere thanks to the staff at REPC, Faith Lane and Concordia Hospital 3 East, especially Ainsley, for their compassion, care, and support. I met Bill when we worked together at Wesmar automatic beverages. We hunted and fished together with his Father inlaw Herb. We had so many laughs together, last time I saw Bill was at Morris Stampede in 1981. Bill was a awesome guy, loved his Family so much. Wish I had known he had passed.
