JAKOB FINK 1927 - 2016 Change in Date of Service Due to Weather Jakob Fink, once a boy taken from a farm in Romania to endure the Second World War and eventually become a much beloved family man here in Canada, passed away on December 3, 2016 at the age of 89. He travelled quietly these pathways through life with a strong sense of self and an inherent joy. His tireless work ethic as a self-employed contractor supported well his family, and attested to his love of working independently with his hands on all kinds of home renovations. He was preceded by his wife Milda, and is survived by two children, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Dad, it was a great run, but now you deserve a long needed and peaceful rest... Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 - 11:00 a.m. at Vita Funeral Home, 256 Railway Avenue, Vita, Manitoba. Interment will take place at Mennonite Memorial Gardens, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
