PEARL LORRAINE LIGHTBODY Surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at her new residence of Creedan Valley Care Community, Creemore, formerly of North Bay in her 97th year. Pearl Abbott was the beloved wife of the late Hugh. Loving mother of Hugh of Eugenia, George (Maxine) of Whitney and the late Eleanor Graves. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Kimberly Biss, Joey Biss, Andrew Graves, Michael Lightbody, Cindy Marsh and Gabriel Lightbody, as well as great and great-great-grandmother to many. She will be fondly remembered by her only surviving sister Peggy Barker, and many nieces and nephews. Pearl was predeceased by her sisters Georgina, Thelma, Betty and Evangelina, as well as her parents George and Elizabeth Abbott. A celebration of Pearl's life will be held in the spring in Sundridge, Ontario and she will be interred with her late husband Hugh Sr., and their beloved daughter the late Eleanor Graves.
