NELSON DUCHARME Nelson Ducharme of Eddystone, Manitoba passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 60 years. Nelson was predeceased by our parents, Harry and Veronique Ducharme, two nieces April and Mavis, and two brothers in infancy. He leaves to mourn his brothers, Frankie (Mandy), Kenny (Gloria), Jimmy (Barb), Johnny (Stephanie), and sisters Lena (Tom), Lucille, Lorette (Kevin) and Mary Lou (Calvin). Nelson was born on January 9, 1956 in Ste. Rose du Lac, Manitoba. He loved life and lived his life to the fullest. He lived in Eddystone his entire life, helping take care of our parents, which the family was grateful for. Nelson loved his family, his nieces and nephews, his extended family and friends and would help anyone in need. Throughout his life, Nelson enjoyed riding horses, snowmobiling, golfing, playing baseball and hockey, and watching the Winnipeg Jets. Nelson worked in construction for the majority of his adult life as well as for local ranchers. The family would like to thank our extended family members in and around Eddystone who helped out so much over the years, the medical personnel at the Ste. Rose General Hospital and the W.R.H.A. Palliative Care Unit for their assistance. Also a special thank you to all the family and friends who visited Nelson in the last two weeks of his life. At Nelson's request no funeral service will take place. A memorial service to honour his life will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016, 1:00 p.m., at the Prosvita Hall, 777 Pritchard Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
