ANNE SIMPSON Anne Simpson died peacefully at her home on December 4, 2016. In 1984 when my husband Jim passed away, he took a little bit of me with him, but his love was mine to keep. And so with the support and companionship of many good friends, I slowly adjusted to life on my own. What a wonderful life I have had, interesting, challenging, adventurous and rewarding. My sincere gratitude to all who helped make it so. My footsteps guided by faith led me on the interesting pathways of life. Adult education courses, volunteerism and and travel with my good friend Kay opened our eyes to a much different world of no water and no schools. We know our ongoing support made a difference. My dogs brought me much joy in their own special way. Letters, phone calls and flowers from Scotland, my homeland brought special pleasure. Thank you to all who have touched and enriched my life. I am most grateful. You were my strength when I lost Jim, and my long time and dearly loved friend Kay Holmes and my special "sister" friend Mary Wirth --- who could ask for more. "The worth of a friend no words can express. Tis God's gift to bless our time on earth" --- my friends you made my life sublime. As always, Anne.
