HUGO HEINZ EPP On December 6, 2016, Hugo aged 88 years passed away peacefully, with his family at his side. He was born December 1, 1928 in Niverville, Manitoba. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years Mary, children Janet Epp (Leon), Carol Laurence, Wayne Epp (Sherry), six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents Henry and Anna Epp. Hugo took great pride in his involvement in the Credit Union system during his working years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and travelling. In addition to their annual winter vacations in Arizona, Mary and Hugo were Platinum Cruiseship members. He struggled with vascular disease for over 40 years. With an incredible tenacity, he bounced back after innumerable surgeries. The staff at St. Boniface Hospital greeted him like an old friend every time he was re-admitted. Sincere thanks to Dr. Guzman and the vascular ward staff at St. Boniface Hospital. Funeral service will be held at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing prior to service at 9:30.
