Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Mrs. Hauk was our nurse in the WGH School of Nursing Infirmary from 1966 to 1969. She was one of the best, caring for us lovingly, with a gracious smile, sparkling eyes, a kind heart and a wonderful laugh. We trusted and respected her very much. She will be remembered fondly by our classmates. We offer our sincere condolences to the family. We are all blessed to have had her in our lives. Cherish the special memories. May she enjoy the embrace of the Angels. Sincerely, Margaret Lupyrypa Ogonowski on behalf of the Class of 1969. - Posted by: Margaret Ogonowski (WGH/HSC Nursing Alumni friend) on: Dec 21, 2016

  • Jean Hauk was one of the most wonderful women I've had the privilege of knowing. As a young man of 19 Jean came into my life after I had started dating her granddaughter Stacey. Since day one of knowing her she and her husband Al made me feel that I was a part of their family. Later on after Stacey and I were married and had children, Grandma was a constant and important part of our lives. We have learned so much from her and I would not be the man I am today without her love and guidance. She has been a true inspiration on my life and until the day I pass I will be truly thankful to have known her and been considered her grandson. I love you so much Grandma. I know you will be watching down on us and guiding us always with your love and support. Thank you for everything you've done for me and for truly touching my life. with all my love. • Your Mom was a great help to me at the SON Infirmary at a very stressful time in my life. It was great to see her at one of the last Alumnae Banquets that I attended. She was very well liked. - Posted by: Linda (Ross) Rudd (Patient) on: Dec 17, 2016
