TODD WALTER ANTHONY SECH July 23, 1965 - December 19, 2016 It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Todd Sech, their beloved father, son, brother and uncle. Todd bid farewell to us, peacefully in his sleep, on Monday, December 19, 2016 at the age of 51. He was predeceased by his father Walter Sech in 1982, his Granddad Weaver in 1981, and by his good friends Craig Crellin and Billie Mages. Todd leaves to forever cherish his memory his three sons Connor, Clayton and Tanner; his mother Gloria Sech; sisters Karyn Turner, Lynne (Gord) Tompkin, Shawn (John) Armitage, and Marni Sech (Peter Read): uncles Dave Weaver, and Bill (Pat) Weaver; Chantel Sawatzky (mother of his sons), her daughter Jocelyn Sawatzky, Joan and Chuck Ferris, as well as his many nieces, nephews and grandnieces. Todd will also be greatly missed by his close friends Dave and Karen Arcand and Dave Liebrecht. Todd spent his early years growing up in the Garden City area of Winnipeg and then later moved to West Kildonan where he raised his three boys. After the passing of his father Wally in 1982, Todd was a huge comfort and support for his mother Gloria in helping her to manage the family business. For the last decade he worked in the trucking industry for Gardewine. At the center of Todd's world were his three boys Connor, Clayton and Tanner, who were the loves and lights of his life. Many wonderful days and memorable times were made together in Winnipeg and Kenora cycling, tobogganing, swimming and other fun guy stuff. Todd often reflected upon and mentioned his special childhood memories of walking hand in hand with his Granddad Weaver to the corner candy store. He was also very close to his mother Gloria who played a very supportive and special part throughout his life. She was always there for him and to help with her beloved grandsons in any way that she could....even when sometimes that involved some very interesting assignments! Todd was an avid cook and he many times jokingly said that he should have been a chef. He made many delicious meals and often whipped up scrumptious treats for the boys. Todd had a passion for motorcycles, specifically Harley Davidsons. His love of Harleys took him on many adventurous road trips to Campbell River, BC, where he resided for a few years. He also enjoyed scuba diving and went on countless expeditions at West Hawk Lake and on the West Coast. He had a love for animals and a very special bond with his favourite dog Dagmar. Like his father, Todd was a very kind, thoughtful and generous man who had that very special ability to connect with anyone. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation with a directive towards Leukemia. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at a later date. "May you ride that Harley off into the blue skies forever Dad" - Love always, Connor, Clayton and Tanner
