Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHEINZ TOMSZAK August 25, 1937 - December 17, 2016 It is with great sadness we announce the passing Heinz Tomszak, 79, father, grandfather and friend, passed away at home on December 17, 2016. Will be remembered by daughter Carmen; sister Karen; son-in-law Chris; grandchildren Stephanie, Julie, Anthony, Nickalas, Alisa, Alexis, Cheyanne, Christian and Liam. Heinz was born in Dunau, Germany and came to Canada when he was 20 years old and worked for a furniture company called Woodland. He enjoyed making furniture, he even made some of his own cabinets for his house. Heinz was well known for always having a smile on his face and being happy and outgoing. Heinz was a warm-hearted man, he spent the last eight years volunteering at the food bank twice a week. He loved meeting new people and talking about his grandchildren and childhood memories. He will be missed by many. Funeral will be held on December 30 at Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day St. Viewing 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m., and service/reception at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, or accepting donations on the link below. http://www.gofundme.com/34u50q8
