Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLA JEAN KLASSEN (nee ABRAMS) September 29, 1940 December 19, 2016 Sadly we announce the passing of Jean Klassen, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, on Monday, December 19, 2016 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. Jean was predeceased by her parents, Jake and Susan; brother James; and grandchild Ainsley. Jean is survived and greatly missed by her husband of 58 years, Henry Klassen; her children, Shaun (Sheeva), Dale (Constance), Robin (Michelle); her grandchildren, Hayden, Meaghan, Thea, Lara, Evan, Lana; and her siblings, Shirley (Martin), Alvin, Sharon (John), Verna (Marcel). Jean dedicated herself fully to life's endeavours, with particular enthusiasm for those involving: family, friends, reading, gardening and travelling. Jean is cherished for her easy laugh and noted for her remarkable poise and selfless spirit while enduring an advanced cancer for nearly five years. A Celebration of Life is being planned, in keeping with Jean's wish that no formal service take place. Obituary may also be viewed at www.cropo.com.
