Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA LYNN (SCOTT) DOAN February 2, 1949 December 16, 2016 It is with great love and sadness we announce the passing of our mother, nana, daughter, sister and soon-to-be great-grandmother, Patricia Lynn Doan, on December 16, 2016. Pat is greatly missed by her children, Ross (Chantel), Nica (Martin Nantel) and Rachel (Scott Sommerville); grandchildren Adrian, Jonah, Madison, Hali, Aslan, Farleigh, Dexter and Lennox; mother Margaret Scott; brother Malcolm Scott (Danielle); nieces and nephews and the special people she gave care to. She was predeceased by her father Clare Scott and sister Sandra Scott. Pat's door was always open. Her home was full of animals, good meals, storytelling and laughter. Among family and friends, Pat was happiest when taking care of others, and truly believed in second chances. She lived her life with dignity and generosity. Pat made the world more loving and she will be missed. "If I keep a green bough in my heart, the singing bird will come." We are so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. It has been a long time since we've seen her or the family, but have many memories of her from when we were all younger living out in Stonewall on the farm. Pat was always the one looking after all of us, she had such a kind, gentle heart! Our condolences to the entire family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
