DOROTHY SARAH MCDILL (née WILKINSON) BA (Manitoba, 1941), BA (Carleton, 1980) Born in Winnipeg - July 2, 1915 At Prince of Wales Manor on December 21, 2016. Longtime resident of Honey Gables (1957 2007). Predeceased by her husband, the late Major William A. McDill RCE in 1989, and by her brother John and sister Florence. Dear mother of Cheryl, William (Corinne), Donald (Nancy) and Moyra (Lennart). Cherished grandmother of Camille, Kara, Randall, Tammy, Robert, Gordon, Sarah, Andrew and Carolyn. Great-grandmother of Melissa, Michelle, Kaitlyn, Tyra and Caden. Dear Auntie Do to her nieces and nephews. Dorothy's life spanned from the days of delivery of ice by horse-drawn wagon to the smartphone. Dorothy loved music, art, photography and teaching. Friends are invited to visit at Capital Memorial Gardens Visitation Centre, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa, on Wednesday, January 4 from 12:00 noon until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment and reception to follow.
