  • My cousin Walter was one of the nicest people I ever knew. A man with an easy smile, a deep laugh, and an open heart to all. His father (my mom's brother) and mother welcomed us with open hearts and a welcoming home when we came to Canada from Germany. I remember playing with my brother Bernie and Walter. I cannot express how sad I feel at his too early passing. I regret not telling him how important his family was to us. May he rest in peace. With love from his little cousin. - Posted by: jeanne pauls (Bernacki) (first cousin) on: Dec 31, 2016
