DIANA LYNN DAUBER WILSON On December 26, 2016, Diana suddenly passed at the age of 58. Diana was an adventurous woman with a heart of gold. Marrying Roger brought her to Winnipeg where they spent the next 13 years blissfully married, travelling as often as they could and spending time with family and loved ones creating memories that were bigger than a lifetime. She is survived by her daughter Angela (Jim); stepchildren Jen (Colin), Richard (Treasure), and Kelly (Paddy); numerous grandchildren; her father David; sisters Cindy and Renee, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Barbara, and the love of her life, Roger Wilson. A celebration of Diana's life will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Irish Association of Manitoba, 654 Erin St. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I am so sorry for your loss, & your family's loss. Our collective loss, of Diana. We became quite good friends, during the years when MySpace was popular. We attended a Rod Stewart concert together, & went out for coffee (and dinner), numerous times. We had a time where we grew apart. Two years ago, we reconciled our friendship. I am so glad this happened, but so sad that on this side of Heaven, our chapter has closed. Angela & family, friends: Please accept my deepest sympathies. Rest in peace, dear Diana. Forever thankful for the fact that our paths crossed. - Posted by: Barbara Young (Friend) on: Jan 05, 2017

  • Dee and I were neighbors as well as friends while growing up on Pritchard St. in Sheraden. We recently reconnected on Facebook. I am shocked to hear of her passing. May God bless and keep her forever in His arms. - Posted by: Cindy Atkins (Childhood friend ) on: Dec 31, 2016

  • I had the pleasure of going to Cuba with Diana and some other fine ladies in November 2016 for the first time. She was staying for a week and I was staying for two weeks with her other friend Sally. Diana left me her water shoes for week two so I could explore the ocean without harming my feet. I enjoyed her company so much that I invited her to my home when we got back from Cuba. We spent 5 wonderful hours together that day and made plans to get together again. I'm trying to be thankful for the time we did share together but the loss of a future that included Diana leaves me sad. May all the wonderful memories with Diana be shared between family and friends to help balance the sorrow we all feel. - Posted by: Sharon Bain (Friend) on: Dec 31, 2016
