MARCEL ARTHUR JOSEPH DESROCHERS It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Marcel Arthur Joseph Desrochers, at the age of 75 years, on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Victoria Hospital, with family by his side. Remaining to cherish Marcel's memory are his wife Jeannette; son Edouard (Karen); daughter Susanne (Kristopher), and grandchildren, Jordan, Chantyl and Selina. Marcel was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was a long-distance truck driver from 1971 until his retirement. Marcel had a passion for animals of every kind, fishing, automobiles and many years spent camping. In compliance with Marcel's wishes, a private family Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a charitable donation can be made in Marcel's honour to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3.
