MARY GULENCYN (nee WESLAK) On December 30, 2016 Mary passed away at KinPlace. Mary will be missed by her children, Patsy, Joan, Elaine, Edith, Stan and their spouses. Mary also left behind 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Mary is survived by two sisters and three brothers. Mary was predeceased by her husband Stanley, daughter Susan, along with two sisters and one brother. In life Mary devoted herself to her husband and six children. Mary truly enjoyed all that entails in country living. Mary spent her last three years at KinPlace Personal Care Home. Donations on behalf of Mary may be made to KinPlace or CancerCare in lieu of flowers. Funeral services will be held January 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres followed by burial at Birch River Cemetery.

Baba (or Grandma Mary as Zach called you), you will be missed. From picking beans and peas (Zach) to washing unmentionables on a washboard by the river on the farm (Liza) to visiting you and having to watch out for that 106 year old trying to pick you up (Andrew). You weren't big into hugs in the early years, but you were very big into smiles. Thank you for being my Baba. Missing you....
