RITA MYRTLE BLANCHETTE (HALL) January 8, 1929 - December 19, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rita Myrtle (Hall) Blanchette. Rita will be missed by her children, Gregory and Rhonda, her granddaughter Chelsea, her sisters Bernice Miller and Georgina Johnson, her sister-in-law Jeanette Ducharme, her many nieces and nephews, and friends. Rita was predeceased by her husband Edmond Paul Blanchette (December 28, 2006), and her mother Myrtle Grace Hall (February 16, 2011). Special thanks to all of the team at NIGGV who treated our mother with love and respect. A private memorial service will be held in Winnipeg in the summer of 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetes Society of Canada, or the Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Foundation in St. Catharines, ON, where she spent her final days.
