Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryYVONNE MARY ALICE REIMER December 3, 1943 - Winnipeg, Manitoba January 2, 2017 - Calgary, Alberta Yvonne (Joyal) Reimer of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the age of 73 years. Yvonne was born a triplet in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she was raised. As an adult she entered the nursing profession and became a Palliative Care nurse. She met Jim and married him in 1963. They lovingly raised four boys, and moved between Winnipeg and Calgary, following work. In 1989 they settled in Calgary. The symptoms of Huntingtons Disease became very apparent and she had to enter a Care Home in 2001. In April of 2002, Yvonne made a deep commitment to God, and that commitment gave her hope and peace until her last breath. Yvonne is survived by her sons: Jim (Kathleen), Greg (Sue), Don (Iris), and John (Jenn); her grandchildren: Jacob, Rose, Nicole, Sarah, Jeffrey, Amy, Anthony, Valarie, April, and Maddie; her brothers Raymond and Dennis, and several nieces and nephews. Yvonne was predeceased by her husband Jim, her parents, Leopold and Josephine, her brother Lucien, and triplet Richard (shortly after birth). Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre St. North, Calgary, AB) on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery.
