I am extending my deepest condolences to Les, Erica, and Aaron. Linda was a long term friend. We shared a great part of our life. We could be apart for extended time and come together again as if no time had passed. My love to you. - Posted by: Shirley Nielsen/Christensen (Friend) on: Jan 25, 2017

We were fortunate to work with Linda as a team member for several sketch camps that began the ED2 year in the Faculty of Architecture. Her calm demeanour and sense of humour were part of what made her a popular instructor. She also produced lovely watercolours and was very open and generous in showing how she painted. Sitting around one evening after a day of teaching young people how to sketch, she produced some watercolour sketches of everyday objects like cups and keys that were sitting on the table. When I expressed how much I liked them, she gave the sketches to me. Whenever I look at them, I am reminded of that day and her generosity of spirit. - Posted by: Tom Monteyne (friend and colleague ) on: Jan 19, 2017

I only met Linda once. She was tending to the garden on Jessie St. I was immediately struck by her serene face and the beautiful aura around her. I felt her kindness and warm spirit. It was so obvious that she was a special lady. Les has had the good fortune and privilege to be blessed with being able to spend his life side by side with such a such a splendid old soul. Happy Trails Linda, as you enter the Kingdom of Heaven.... - Posted by: John Thompson (acquaintance) on: Jan 08, 2017
