GWEN FORREST / LUKASIK (nee NICHOLLS) It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the death of our Mother, Gwen, at the age of 54. She passed suddenly in the comfort of her home on Sunday, January 1, 2017 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Gwen was born July 13, 1962 at the Branson Hospital in Toronto, Ontario to Arthur and Beverly Nicholls. Left to mourn and cherish Gwen's memory are her sister, Janet (Kevin) Douglas; her children, David (Cheryl) Nicholls, Heather Lukasik (Jacob Romain), Natalie Lukasik (Shawn Leahey); their father Jeff Lukasik; step father Ian Forrest, and grandchildren, Leah, Caitlin, Riley. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Beverly Nicholls (nee Smith). Gwen had a love for life. She easily made friendships, and enjoyed the company of others. She loved to laugh, and was known to see the positive in each day. Through her life, Gwen had many titles, her most proud was Mom. A celebration of Gwen's life will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at ANAVETS Unit 283, 3584 Portage Avenue in the John Thompson Room.
