RUBY L. SCAMMELL (HENRY) March 24, 1918 - January 1, 2017 Peacefully with her family by her side Ruby passed away on January 1, 2017. Ruby was predeceased by her parents Clarence and Alma, husband Bert, son Delmar, son-in-law Larry, grandchildren Glen and Delaney, brother Robert, sister-in-law Marge, brother Douglas, brother-in-law Fred Bowles, special sister Vera, good friend Peggy Pritchard and special friend Scotty Lamond. She is survived by her children Jim (Judy), Sandra (Garry), Barry, John (Wendy), Jean, Robin (Danny) and sister-in-law and best friend Connie Henry. Mother had 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Funeral service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to the Holy Family Nursing Home, 165 Aberdeen Avenue.
