JASON CROLLY Jason Crolly passed at the age of 36 years, on February 13, 2016 following a short illness. His passing at the Health Sciences Centre as a peaceful one, surrounded by family and friends. Jason was survived by his father Ken Crolly, grandmother Florence Crolly, uncle and aunt Jack and Darlene Crolly, and cousins Colin (Jennifer) Crolly and Allison (Ken Dessler) Crolly. Jason has also been mourned by his many friends, particularly in the skateboarding community which he loved so much. Jason was predeceased by his mother Linda Crolly, and his grandparents Bryce and Agnes Fergusson, and Jack Crolly Sr. Jason lived his life to the fullest, but he was never so alive, as when he was on a skateboard. He took up skateboarding as a young boy and worked at it until he exceled at the sport. For a period, he received sponsorships from manufacturers and traveled across North America and Europe, competing and demonstrating skateboarding to fans. This passion for skateboarding never left him. Jason's other passion in life was golf, and he was never known to turn down a chance for a round, whatever the weather. On occasion he would drag others (especially his father), kicking and screaming onto the golf course in the midst of a rain or snow storm, because he did not want to miss a chance at "one more round". A combined celebration of the lives of Ken and Jason Crolly will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website.

I met Jason when he was 8 years old. I got a chance to also get to know his grandparents, Agnes and Bryce. I watched him grow up over the years and turn into a fine young man. In his later years Jason did battle his own demons but he was still a giving and passionate man. I do miss him a lot. - Posted by: Richard clark (Friend) on: Jan 07, 2017
