I am very thankful that I got the chance to meet and know your family. They are all extremely special and loving people who will miss you deeply. Al was waiting for you at heaven's gate. • Jan came into my life at exactly the right time. I was a vulnerable teenager and headed down the wrong path in life. How lucky I was that Jan saw something in me, made me feel so loved, valuable and worthy. She had such tremendous faith and confidence in me; she told me I could achieve great things and had potential to be so much more than I was. Jan changed my life and she saved it, too. I can't imagine a world without my beloved friend and am so blessed and incredibly grateful to have had her in my life for all these years. Sending my deepest condolences and all my love to her amazing kids - Diane, Gary, Brett, Joey, Craig, Scott and Doug and their partners, children and to the whole Vickery family. You all epitomize what it means to be family and I am in awe of your incredible dedication, devotion and loving care of your Mama Bear. You are all in my heart and in my prayers. Rest peacefully, dear friend. - Posted by: Shannon Hancock (friend) on: Jan 10, 2017
