Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN PAUL JOSEPH DUMONT January 31, 1953 - January 6, 2017 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of JP. Left to mourn him are his wife of 37 years, Lynda; children and grandchildren, Candy, Brad, Darryl (Shaina), Jody (Anna), Kris (Hannah), Trevor (Amanda), Danica (Owen), Brittany, Aden, Colt, Lyla, Maxim, Gunnar; great-grandson Emery, his mother Marielle; seven brothers; four sisters; in-laws, and numerous extended family. JP was predeceased by his father Arthur (1990) and brother Daniel (2003). JP spent his life working as a heavy equipment operator, mechanic, and supervisor. Raising his family in Prairie Grove, he took great pride in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandson. Papa was their role model. There was not a time when JP couldn't be called on for his expertise in fixing anything either by family, friends, or neighbours. He will be missed by all. Special thanks to his friend Léo, you were there in his greatest time of need. Celebration of Life will be held at Transcanada Centre, 1 Rivard Street, Ile des Chênes, MB on Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Desjardins 204-233-4949 1-888-233-4949 Family and friends are invited to sign a Book of Condolences at www.desjardinsfuneralchapel.ca
