DOROTHY CHANT January 17, 1923 - December 26, 2016 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Dorothy Chant on December 26, 2016 at Victoria Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Chant. She is survived by her daughter Maggie (Charles Eastman) of Seattle, WA; her son Richard (Rebecca Chant) of Winnipeg; her sister Margaret Macdonald of United Kingdom. The family would like to thank the staff at the Victoria Hospital where she spent the later months of her life. At Dorothy's request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers a donation to a charity of your choice would be much appreciated. Cremation was performed on January 4, 2017 and ashes will be interred beside her husband at MacGregor cemetery in the spring.
