Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE EUGENE BIGOURDAN November 27, 1924 - January 14, 2017 In loving memory of George, who passed away peacefully on January 14, 2017, at Victoria General Hospital at the age of 92 years. He is predeceased by his wife Joyce, his parents Jean and Freda Bigourdan, his sisters Irene, Gertrude and Josephine, his brother John and sister-in-law Adeline and brother Frank. George will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by: Daughters: Diane (Candace), Sharon (Randy), Cathy (Kris). Grandchildren - Heather (Steve), Jenna and Matthew, Jared (Allison) and Steven (Keerath). Great-grandchildren - Aaron, Madison, and Mya. Sisters: Lillian and Alice, Brother and sister-in-law George and Irene Marsh and sister-in-law Mary (Lol) Bigourdan. Nieces, nephews and cousins are too numerous to mention by name. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff and residents of Seine River Retirement Residence for their kindness and compassion during the almost eight years that George was a resident. A special thank you to all the staff in the Emergency Department and Dr. K. Penner and staff on the fifth floor at Victoria General Hospital for their care during George's last days. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Reception to follow. George hired me as a driver examiner in 1966 and I worked for him for a few summers while going to school. I then returned full time as a driver examiner and ended my career with the Division of Driver and Vehicle Licensing.
