J. WARREN ATCHISON J. Warren Atchison was born on June 13, 1939 in Restoule, Ontario to parents Archie and Ann. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1957, 2nd Canadian guard regiment. He served in Europe for three years, where he met his wife Mary while on leave in Ireland. They were married November 29, 1959 in South River, Ontario. After nine years in the Canadian Armed Forces Warren started a successful career working in sales for Chicago Pneumatic tools. In 1984, he and Mary founded Atchison Agency, which is now a successful third generation family business, working in automotive tool and equipment sales. Warren's passion in life was for his children and grandchildren. He and Mary were the proud parents of three sons, Warren, Joseph and Kelly. He is survived by sons Warren (Linda) and Kelly, brothers John and Richard, sisters Marilyn and Elaine, and grandchildren Christopher, Tyler, Kayla, Branden, and Sara. He was predeceased by son Joseph (1961). After a brief illness, Warren passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba on January 15, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to CancerCare Manitoba or the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre Foundation. Warren's family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Selkirk and District General Hospital as well as the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg for their compassionate care. In accordance with his wishes, no public memorial service will be held. He will be loved and missed always.

Dear Mary, Warren & Kelly, So sorry to heat of Atch's passing. I stumbled across this passage and although the years have added up since I saw you last, I have thought of you often over the years. Hi Aunt Mary, you know Uncle Warren was very special to all of us. We have so many good memories of him with his great sense of humor and willingness to help others. I am so grateful that I got to see him at the cottage with the South River clan. I know he is with my dad and your son Joseph now. Hope to see you soon.
