  • I guess it is my own fault that I only recently learned of Richard’s passing. I lost my Mom around that time so I was distracted. I introduced Maija to Richard when he worked as my bass player at the Circle Inn in T.Bay. One of the proudest things I’ve done in my life. I’m still playing music far more than I ever thought I would. This is a very easy testament to make;...........best bass player I’ve ever played with. Also a genuine good guy. RIP buddy. • Richard loved a good joke. He was my email buddy for many years. I could always look forward to a few good joke email from Richard several times a week. I would send him jokes in return. We stopped sending jokes after a while. My deepest sympathies to the Rigey family. - Posted by: Mary Veldman (Friend) on: Jan 21, 2017
